It's so true, Matthew! The lunges can feel like a slow intense burn. Yin is one of my favorite ways to unwind from the day. So glad you found it useful. Warmly, Alana

Wonderful practice. Dug the discussion of energy travelling through fascia. On the bike, I get blocked energy through my left IT area where I hit a car 10 years ago. It then creates some soreness in the piriformis and lower lumbar. Just breathing prana into the area is not enough to ease it. I have to open my left hip off the bike with a figure four. During the spinal twists I had to massage some of the soreness from today's ride. I wonder if there has been some discussion in the yoga world about yin and self-massage for those areas that don't release with stretch and prana.
