Erin, thank you so much for being here and honoring what you are feeling in your body. To follow your leg's guidance and find some support, you might try some of these things: 
1. Bend the front knee a little to offer space to the hamstrings and reduce the load that can happen when we lean into the back of the knee
2. Try bringing your front hand higher up for leg, on a block, your thigh, or even a  chair.
3. Play with the rotation of your hips by rolling the back hip towards floor and drawing the front hip back a little to see if you can reduce the sense of weight in front leg
4. Play with engaging the back foot and leg more
