I am going to order blocks because they are on the list of items for some of the classes I want to take but I’m wondering what brand you recommend. I’m finding a lot of mixed reviews. Also, I have never used a strap. Thank you.
Hi Tonia, I love practicing with blocks. I like the Manduka cork blocks. They are a bit thicker and heavier than the foam blocks, but I really like how sturdy and supportive they are. If you are wanting something lighter and easier to move around on your mat, I suggest foam blocks 4" x 6" x9".  A strap can be super useful too, especially for stretching the hamstrings and opening the shoulders.
