"Do your own lousy dharma instead of somebody else's." lol
Kira, is the new yoga teacher training happening this year?

Dianne, love! Hi! Do you mean with Yoga Anytime or Lulu's? xok

I was thinking of Lulu's!

yoga is charity of thought. you have captured it well. thank you for this talk. looking forward to more sutra talks. Maybe prati paksha bhavana, since it dovetails nicely after this one. Hari Om.

Kira, you asked - do we even know what these feel like? so in the spirit of investigation i had pen and notebook at hand.this is what came up for me-
friendliness feels tickly
compassion feels flutterry, like unshed tears and heavy and almost hopeless - it was hard for me not to "judge" this spontaneous feeling - i felt it shouldnt feel like this - but it did, so i let it!
empathetic joy feels straight and lengthening, taller and more expansive - im suddenly aware that im sitting taller straighter more effortlessly
equanimity feels curvy and rounding - even a wee bit juicy and drooly!
thanks for the inspiring exploration!

Michelle, thank you! Yes, compassion has lots of layers and hopelessness is one of them. xok
