Kate!
First, thanks for the y'alls. Represent. I love the fire from the arches, the lift of the hips, the arms going along for the ride. So many great cues for a pose that can make you sorry the next day or longer if done incorrectly. Love it.

Plank has defeated me in the past, but now that I better understand it, I think I will be able to do it well. Thanks!

Thank you - love the permission to keep my hips high. Definitely guilty of sagging in the past!

Thank you8, Kate. My best friend is "down dog". I find relief in moving from DG to plank, but feel the discomforts you had pointed out. Your presentation makes me realize that proper form is very important. I also like your reference to anatomy, which helps me connect to my body . thank you.

So glad it helped, Laurie. I struggle with this pose (in a good way) on a weekly basis. It always challenges me - which I actually love. It's wonderful to think of the deep anatomy that this pose strengthens. I always remind myself when I am in this pose that I am wearing a "muscular suit" and I can utilize the whole suit for the pose - not just the upper body. Glad to hear you are on this learning journey with me. My love abounds....

I activated the serratus, and then connected it to the tricep. That's how I want to do planks from now on, and move from DD to plank! Really muscular and expanding. My shoulders had a vacation too.

David Goldstein !!! thanks for this reminder.... the serratus is such a great muscle to get in touch with... And I will be honest, I had let it slip my mind....tapping into the core is the key - the serrates is that gateway
