WOW WOW WOW that practice is breathtaking wonderful. I love the sandbags on top of the shoulders, and the neck-hanging like a swing. I have two questions: Can you tell where exactly your are positioning the strap? If I want to study and learn more about Restorative Yoga, can you recommend me any books, or teachings? Thank you and warm hug from cold Tuscaloosa Alabama.

Thanks, Silke. The belt can be positioned just underneath the occipital bone (base of the skull). From there, you can wiggle it around to your liking. You'll want to feel that the neck is lengthening, but not flattening. Some like the belt to be sit against the ears, while others prefer it just behind the ears. I wrote a book on restorative yoga. It's quite thorough and may be helpful. Restorative Yoga Therapy: The Yapana Way to Self-Care & Well Being. You can purchase it on Amazon. Again, thank you for your note! XO
