I can’t seem to stop my elbows lifting off the mat! I’m the same if I try any handstand other than tripod.....

Hi Trudie, Thanks for checking in. This pose can be frustrating as it challenges shoulder flexibility and stability...which might be playing out in other places in the pose such as your elbows lifting. Have you explored the shape with the feet remaining on floor in the prep pose? This really helped me to open my shoulders over time, by inching my feet closer slowly. Let me know if this helps.
