Lovely, grounding and centering. A low energy day for me so this was just what I needed. Grateful for your teaching.

Hi Rosemary
Thanks for this wonderful purifying pranayama,
I would like to know if Nadi Shodhana can be done also to the end of a practice to calm down after an intense flow, for example, bird of paradise 😉

Rosemary: what a gift of an episode. Your clear instructions gave me new insights into each of these breathing techniques. I am also learning how to be a better teacher as well. With the third round of Kapalabhati I stretched out my legs (knees were barking) and the breath had much less power.  Makes sense to do this in Goddess pose as well (stronger foundation), which is how I have done it in the past. In Nadi Shodhana I lay in Savasana, as this was my last practice of the day and experimented without hands, breathing in a circle through the lobes of each lung (five count). Is this a pranayama practice already?
Rosemary Garrison
Absolutely, David G- . Officially speaking, any breath practice is a pranayama practice. It's wonderful to hear how work with the teachings... and are developing your own inner teacher!
