I wonder if by "meditate" we can extend that into the more general sense of meditative awareness...as meditation can mean different things to different people.  And oftentimes I find that "formal meditation", taken out of context, just setting a time aside for it, is not working for me, but if something pulls me towards it, an experience of beauty for example, I can be in "meditation" and therefore, I can, even if for a little while, escape the walls of the valley and open up my perspective.  Just thinking aloud ..

There's a song I Love  , it's by a beautiful  artist her name is Snatam Kaur. The  song is called Azure Salver.
The lyrics  are beautiful.
Tell of the play of laya and the beauty of understanding the realisation of the beauty in all of us and creation .
Sky is the Azure Salver,
The Sun and Moon thy lamps,
The stars are thy scattered pearls,
And the sound of forest thy insights ,
And the breeze is thy fan ,
These along with the flowers of vegetation are laid as offerings at thy feet,
Whatever or (other)??? Worship can be compared with nature's own festival of light .
I am enchanted with thy Play.
It is thy light which lives in every heart and thy Love (light ) which illumines every soul.
The next verse is  beautiful too and enlightening.
