Great teaching! I was able to lift off, and I was also able to fall forward. Ouch! I love all the subtle instructions, and they really helped me get past my fear of this pose. I will go back and do the earlier practices. I am sure I missed cool instruction. Thanks!
Hi Allison, I like the way you used cognitive reframing to teach Crow pose and arm balances in general. "Lift your feet off and balance on your arms" is some version of what yoga instructors usually say, and I usually freeze up upon hearing that. Having us focus on the feet and its innate intelligence really helped, along with very exact instructions and preparations. Thank you.
