When Arjuna is lost and confused he turns to Kṛṣṇa for guidance, the inner teacher.  Could we also say that when we realise we are lost that we acknowledge that there is more that we don't know than we do?  And that the inner teacher will only teach us if we are humble, listen, learn from our mistakes, enquire, put in the work?

Yes, I would say so! I think the attitude of inquiry, the outlook of apprenticeship is instrumental in inviting and allowing insight and learning
