So fun 😍 What I love about these practices is that they change things up not only physically, but mentally as well. For me, this feels really therapeutic for some anxiety that’s been showing up in these challenging times. This class has inspired me to continue experimenting with my resistance bands, as they really are such a great tool 👍PS it’ll be interesting to note any unusual little aches tomorrow because I’m sure this woke up some muscles that rarely get used 😌❤️
It's very similar to Pilates work. I teach Pilates and I often use the elastic band to work on shoulder mobility. I've really enjoyed the "yoga" applications you gave, especially in the triangle pose. You can't collapse down when you're pulling the band apart!
I also find the band helps me stay curious in my practice and certainly wakes up muscles I wasn't using with my regular props. I hope the band stays visible with your other props and works its way into your yoga routine.
Whoa, I really felt this workout, especially the triceps one. It didn't take many reps to feel enough. As you say , I too hope to integrate it into regular practice along with the other props.
Hi Melina 👋🏻 revisiting this after doing your resistance band practice in season 3. I used a stronger band this time and WOW I can really feel this working my muscles! Lots of trembling going on. I’m so inspired by these mobility classes that I might just make my way through seasons 1 & 2 again during the course of the summer 🌞
