Ok that “alternative child’s pose” with the bolster IS now my favorite grounding pose! What a delight - I couldn’t help but smile over how much joy that pose brought me 😍 where has this been all my life?
I learned the reclined Child's Pose from my sweetie a long time ago, its for sure MY favorite grounding pose. I love the weight and the sense of hugging something into my body to soothe my nervous system. Like hugging a teddy bear! Thanks again for giving this a try.
Even if I don't have back sensitivity, it's amazing to notice a greater grounding of the back on the floor after a few poses. A practice that prepares for a good night sleep.
