Thank you! I am new to Kundalini Yoga and could feel the inner radiance. I would like to ask: I have high blood pressure and wonder if the Breath of Fire or other breathing exercises can affect this. I have done breath retention in yoga exercises and it brought bad results.
I would advise you to skip the breath of fire, you can still do all the Kundalini exercises without it. Instead, practice long smooth breathing through the nose, and follow along with the other aspects of the exercises. They are still powerful and transformational!
Next time you are at your doctor's, ask them about Breath of Fire and Kappalabhati, they are very stimulating, heating and potent breathing practices, so always best to be cautious and get a doctor's opinion.
