This is one of the best weight classes I’ve ever done 💪😍. Just the right amount of exertion for my 62 year old Earth suit using 3 lb weights. My whole body is feeling alive and strong - thank you so much Melina! (PS, let’s see if I’m still thanking you tomorrow 😉😅)
It was such a joy putting this series together—I'm so glad you're enjoying the mix and pulling out your 3 lb weights! I'm still amazed at how challenging some of the moves are, even with just 3 lbs. Keep me posted how you're feeling.
I agree with Jenny's comment above. Feels good for my 63 year old body! I especially appreciate the weights because I have osteopenia, one step before osteoporosis. I've managed to prevent a deterioration in my bone density for at least 5 years, and working with weights combined with yoga is an excellent practice for me. Thank you, Melina (I'm using the 2 pound weights).
I've had these 3 and 5 pound weights sitting around for years and here's a great way to put them to use. I was able to use the heavier ones for the on the floor section of the class. This is great for this seventy-three year old body. Thanks for this interesting and inspiring series using a variety of props.
