In this pose, should my hips be squared and be touching the ground?

dogoo. it's always ideal for the pelvis to be neutral, but the fact is that it's very difficult to achieve in some poses, this being one of them. do try to keep the sacrum broad on the floor, and be sure not to force the bird catcher leg into the stretch. hold the position comfortably, and let the groin deepen according to its own timetable. but be prepared to stay 5-8 minutes on each side. r
