Hi Cisero,
Thank you for your message. All standing poses practiced restorative ly are easily modified. It doesn't really effect height so much. With less ROM, just maintain the architecture of the pose and being prop support to meet the body so there isn't much daylight between the body and the floor. Easy peasy! 😉 Thanks for watching! Love, LC

Holy Moly, what a great practice. Standing Restorative WOW WOW WOW. I love to do Vasisthasana with the supoort of the chair, because I injured my shoulder and with the chair it was just enough for my shoulder. The blanket didn`t hold, so I wrapped it around my neck (like a towel) and that worked great for me. Your advice to pull the toes towards the heel and the heel towards the toes in Parivrtta Trikonasana is amazing. I could feel the transition from my feet through my legs into my hips. Thank you.

Hi Silke. So nice to hear you enjoyed another restorative practice. Yes, the standing restorative poses are so unique and unlike any other kind of practice. Due to strategic prop placement to meet unique needs, prop placement is crucial and strategic. How nice that you found a way to make Vasisthasana for you. There are so many wonderful ways to use the chair. It's my favorite yoga prop! Parivrtta Trikonasana is such a great pose -- and to be able to practice it without recruiting so much effort is a God send! ENJOY and thanks for sharing! XO
