Such an impressive feat of memory and devotion. You have a beautifully sonorous voice for chanting! I can only imagine the hours and hours and hours of study that have culminated in this recitation. Thank you.

It just occurred to me that the way the narrative is framed is significant. We are cast into the same position as the blind king, as the story is revealed, through sound, to our inner eye. We are blind in so many ways, figuratively speaking. Illumination dawns through sound...

The wheel of time turns... and the Gita continues to speak to me as my life and its challenges unfold.

I'm starting into a study of the second chapter with my Sanskrit teacher, and I just tried to chant along with James using the transliteration. Got to 2.26... a beginning. Great resource!!

After one year I am coming back to this course...the wheel of yoga has turned 360 degrees and has pointed me back here...perennial, and, a great pleasure and honour having James guiding me.  I am appreciating the recitation more and more, can't wait to dive deep into the course afresh
