Hi, I am posting for the benefit of other women. This practice is likely to be inappropriate for the vast amount of women after giving birth. I have been cleared to do this sort of practice many month after giving birth and I was very fit and had a very strong core before. Many women have diastisis recti or a weakened pelvic floor (be aware of intra abdominal pressure that could lead to prolapse) and need to rehabilitate before going back to this sort of exercise. Having said all this I am happy to use the video now that I have regained full functionality after participating in regular physiotherapy sessions. It would be great if you could add a disclaimer about who this practice is suitable for etc. Kind wishes, Katharina
Thank you for your response, Katharina. You are right that Maria's content was created assuming a certain amount of health, mobility, and activity in Prenatal moms who have recently given birth, and understand that it might not be suitable for all moms. We strive to create content for our members that is at once supportive and challenging, and hope that each person works with their doctor to determine the right amount of postnatal activity for themselves. Being cleared for activity by a doctor is always wise and encouraged. We are so glad to hear that you are benefiting from this practice after regaining full functionality with the support of regular physiotherapy sessions. Thank you for sharing. We appreciate your feedback 🙏
