Thank you so much for the beautiful practice. I have a question. You mention “Rib cages in” a lot. But I always wonder what it means. Would you explain?

An Y Hi An Y, Thank you for practicing with me. Great question.....There is a tendency to overarch the back by pushing the ribcage forward, especially the lower part of the ribcage. So, gently bringing the lower ribs in and breathing into the back ribs as well, can maintain better neutral alignment of the spine. I hope that makes sense. Warmest, Birgitte
