We adore Ravi Ravindra. He is a spiritual visionary, scholar, and leading international speaker on religion, science, mysticism, and spirituality. Facile between the eastern and western traditions as well as within the field of science, Ravi's lectures are generously and richly woven with poetry, heart and soul. You feel that you are receiving teachings directly from the Source. He is a true Yogi.

A native of India, he emigrated to Canada and is Professor Emeritus at Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he taught in the departments of physics, philosophy and comparative religion. Ravi has authored many papers and several books, including Pilgrim Soul; the Gospel of John in the Light of Indian Mysticism; Science and the Sacred; The Wisdom of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras; and The Bhagavad Gita: A Guide to Navigating the Battle of Life.

Ravi obtained degrees in Science and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, before going to Canada on a Commonwealth Scholarship to earn an M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Toronto. Later, he earned an M.A. in Philosophy, and at different times held post-doctoral fellowships in Physics at the University of Toronto, History and Philosophy of Science at Princeton University, and in Religion at Columbia University.

Ravi was a Member of the Institute of Advanced Study in Princeton, a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, and Founding Director of the Threshold Award for Integrative Knowledge. He was a member of the Board of Judges for the prestigious Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion. He is also an Honorary Member of the Scientific and Medical Network and a Fellow of the Temenos Academy, England.

Ravi's spiritual search has led him to the teachings of J. Krishnamurti, G. Gurdjieff, Zen, Yoga, and a deep immersion in the mystical teachings of the Indian and Christian traditions. It is with immense joy that we welcome Ravi Ravindra on Yoga Anytime. We are deeply grateful for his generosity of heart and wisdom, and for stirring the subtle and cosmic universe within us.
