Hello, and welcome. This is a guided meditation, mantra meditation on honoring our true nature. The second Clasia that's mentioned after this overall ignorance about who we are is us meet up or our ego. And the difficulties that happen when we over identify with those external aspects of who we are that are changeable that can lead to a lot of anxiety in our lives. And so we use the Yamma with this beautiful antidote of truthfulness called Satya, the practice of not lying, and that could, you know, not, an exaggerated sense of going around the world and lying But it actually says that we're not honoring the truth when we only speak from our egoic identification that more and more Once we can begin to tap into who we truly are, we're more in integrity, meaning connected to who we are and become really rooted so that we can begin to speak from a place of truth rather than this changeable, identification with our egos.

So one of the ways to practice telling the truth is through mantra is through chanting. It can begin to purify our words. It can begin to tap us more closely into our voice, which can begin to, again, speak words that are in alignment with our truest nature. So the mantra soham, literally means I am that I'm not my hairdo. I'm not my body that keeps changing. I have challenges, but that's not who I am.

I have a job, but that's not who I am. I have great joys. I have things that come and go, but those are not who I am. Those are in my life, even my challenges, my pains in my body. Who I am is this witness that can observe that's eternal. So the more we can serenade, this true nature, the more it can its voice becomes a little bit louder over than the others.

So, go ahead and you can sit up nice and tall. If sitting in a chair is more comfortable for you, the most important is that the seat is alert, but it's also comfortable. And then you can begin to find your breath. Even if lying down is more comfortable for you, you're welcome to lie down. But tapping into the breath, it's even the sound of the breath, the inhale.

So The exhale, it's called the ajapa mantra, or the mantra that's always there in our breath is I like to think of it as a truth serum. When I tap into my breath, my thoughts begin to dissolve into the background and what's honest comes forth. This link, so you can begin to listen to this. It doesn't even have to be overly audible like a ujjayi, but reading in soul. I am that. That I am.

Always always reminds me and I smile of the great mantra by the guru Popeye. It says I am, but I am. Right. And the confidence that comes with being who we are in a more honest relationship Well, you can join your hands to your hearts and prayer with a little bow and even to our voice. And allow yourself to sing. At first, we can be shy with our voice.

We're told not to sing because of our voice doesn't sound a particular way. We all have a voice. We're gonna start with chanting the sound of om, which dissolves this division. For his chant, softly or even in your head. And then I don't know chant like your whoever your favorite singer is, McJagger.

So, so, your turn. So, so, So, so So, so so So, so, you're gonna try chanting all together. You can jump in whenever. So So, so, so, so, so, one more time. So I'm so I'm so So, so, so, so, that last part.

So, so, another deep breath in. With the sound of ohm. Take another deep breath in. And then you can rest your hands on your knees. I'm feeling it linger as mantra is.

To transcend the mind. I'm gonna have protection for the mind. As we serenade our truest nature. It's been hidden. So now we're going to take a few moments, a few minutes to rest in this truth.

Continually bringing your mind back to the breath. It can be the mantra, if even if your thoughts are particularly loved today. So on the inhale, on the exhale. We're bringing it back to the natural rhythm of the breath, and especially the exhale. Your physical eyes can be closed or they can be gently open.

If you notice even your posture is starting to shift a little bit, see if you can sit back up nice and tall. And who you are. Simple state of being. Not what you do, what you look like on the outside, but who you are within. So that you can bring that self worth into everything else you do, your work, your relationships.

I am that has you gently begin to make your way back into your body, even move your fingers a little bit into your physical form. I'm becoming aware of the roles you play in the world. Knowing that doesn't identify you. But simply as our dharma, the roles that we play, our part that we get to play as a part of the whole You can join your hands together and then take your thumb and index fingers together. You're gonna tap the right finger to the left middle finger.

This is called the dharma Chakra mudra. It's one of the mudras that Buddha took. Darma is our particular and unique self. As we make our way back into those duties playing him from this deepest sense of our truth. The Kita says better to perform our own duties imperfectly, our truth than to perfect the dharma, the duties of someone else perfectly.

I'm gonna take another deep full breath in. If you exhale, you can even release out through the mouth, a big sigh out. Thank you so much for joining me. And I'll see you next time.
