Hi Alana, I've just started doing Yoga through this website as a beginner, due to really tight shoulders and back pain. I'm enjoying the morning yoga classes and just wanted to ask you how many times should I do the same episode before moving on to the next one? As I noticed it jumps up to level two quite quickly.
Hi Vikki! Welcome! So glad you are here! This is such a great question. What do you find yourself doing? We find it can be helpful to do that same practice several times (or as much as you'd like) to develop a sense of proficiency and confidence. Most importantly, listen to your body (shoulders and back). You might take a look at practices in Welcome to Yoga or Too Tight To Stretch for days when you're wanting to move at a slower pace. Thanks Alana. A lovely smooth and fluid practice to start my day. Really felt my shoulder muscles opening. A few days ago I did a boxing workout routine which tends to tighten. Now the muscles are relaxed.
