Alana welcomes us to this season of Good Morning Yoga, where she will share practices to awaken your senses and find more ease throughout your day. Throughout the season we will explore sequences for the hips spine, and core, as well as explore three-dimensional breath. You will feel more flexible, strong, and stable.

(waves crash) Welcome to season five of Good Morning Yoga, so glad you're here, thank you for showing up. These practices will result in more strength, flexibility, and stability in the body, and my hope is together we'll find a bit more ease within the effort and inspire movement first thing in the morning. So, we'll move through our usual sun salutations, finding opening through the neck and shoulders, the hips, the side body, the thighs, the legs. So, moving at our own pace with our breath we'll find some gentle back-bending as well as some bigger back-bends to really encourage a sense of opening through the front of the body and through the back of the body. Some of the themes we work with is finding this full three-dimensional breath with the breath expanding into the ribcage, the front body, the side body, as well as the back body.

A lot of emphasis on back body sensing, awakening the back body and the front body. So, I invite you to join me in these practices. I look forward to hearing from you, namaste.

Alana you are the best, I love your classes. I attend 3 classes a week in person and take 3 or 4 of your classes. I deleted the other instructors and take only your classes. I would enjoy taking one of your live classes someday.

Hi Alana! I have not posted before, but I wanted to say hello, and tell you how much I love practicing with you! I am starting season 5 of Good Morning Yoga, and I’m also enjoying your Gentle Yoga classes and the Slow Move and Meditate series... which I just found! 
You have been a blessing to me, as my beloved Yoga studio and teachers are not as accessible during this time.  Thank you for your beautiful energy and the calm you bring me, with every class!
