(wave gently breaks) Hi, I'm Lydia, and this is Season 2 of "Yoga for Athletes". And, I'm so excited to share these practices with you because they've given me so much in my athletic endeavors and in my life. So, we're gonna look at some deeper core work and you will feel stronger and more supported from deep within, along your spine and some of those big muscle groups will be able to release, that you might use in dynamic movement in your athletics. There's also a series of deep-stretch practices that will leave you feeling replenished and nourished and having more mobility in the areas that might get over-used when you're doing your sports, or your body movements. There's also a portion of deep-rest in this series that will leave your feeling more ready for sleep and that kind of deep, restful sleep that conquers fatigue.
And lastly, we touch on working with injury. So, there's a little bit of a talk on my personal experience with that. And also, there's a back repair series that I'm really excited about. It's a practice that I use a lot and it comes from a mentor and dear friend of mine named Joy Irwin. So, stay in touch if you wanna connect and go deeper into any of these practices.
