Hello, friends. Welcome. Today's meditation will bring in the moon energy, which is soft and nurturing and connected to our emotional world. So we're invited to slow down and feel the feels. We'll start with Apranayama analoma, an alternate nostril breath. So you'll take your peace fingers on your right hand and put them just between your eyebrows, closing your eyes.
Your right thumb will be free to block off your right nostril in a moment and your right ring finger will block off your left nostril, and we'll go side to side. I'll talk you through it. Find a tall spine, shoulders are relaxed, face is soft. Go ahead and exhale all the air out of your nostrils. Block off your right nostril, inhale through your left for four three two, one, hold the breath in, and then block off your left nostril, exhale through your right for three, two, one. Hold the breath out.
Inhale through the right, four, three, two, one, hold the breath in. Block the right nostril, exhale, left for three, two, one. Hold the breath out. Inhale. Four, three, two, one, hold the breath in. Block the left, exhale right, four, three, two, one, hold the breath out.
Inhaling right, four, three, two, one, hold. Left, exhale, four, three, two, one. Hold the breath out. Inhaling left for three, two, one, hold the breath in. Longer exhale for six, five, four, three, two, one, hold the breath out. Shorter inhale, four, three, two, one, hold the breath in.
Longer exhale through the left, six, five, four, three, two, one. Hold the breath out. One more round, inhale, left, or three. Two, one, hold it in. XL right for six, five, four, three, two, one. Hold the breath out.
Inhale right. Four, three, two, one. Hold the breath in. Left, exhale six, five, four, three, two, one. Release your hand. Breathe in and out through both nostrils.
And just notice how you feel. Alternate nostril breath is known to be very calming for the nervous system, balancing for the brain halves, the analytical and the creative minds, and it helps us feel extremely present and peaceful. So from this place, I want you to draw your awareness inside yourself. Girst will just notice any sounds around us. The external stimuli.
Any sounds in all directions, the sound of my voice sounds outside the room, sounds inside the room. Maybe the sound of your breath. And I just want you to start to blend the sounds together harmoniously like a symphony of sounds. So we're gonna move through our senses and just feel the sensation of touch, notice how you feel, your skin, your clothes, your seats, the air around you. Notice the sensations in your nostrils, in your mouth, any smells, any taste, And then notice the space behind your closed eyes and just allow yourself to see even though the eyes are closed.
Any images, any patterns, any colors that emerge. And then just bring yourself back to the place of awareness inside yourself, maybe feeling your natural breath. And in this place inside yourself, Notice if any emotions are there. The moon energy is who we are when no one's around. It's our inner landscape, allowing us to really be with and feel through our emotional world.
Maybe some parts of you have been and are quite reactive. And feelings are meant to be felt. So using the moon energy, the nurturing motherly feminine energy, just allow yourself to soften. And be here right now in the inner space. You are welcome to sit here and stay with this meta patient as long as you'd like.
And if you're ready to move back into your day, just take a nice long inhale through your nose and out your mouth. And just softly blink your eyes open. Stay well. Namaste.
