Allison welcomes us to Season 1 of Discover Arm Balancing. This season we explore variations of Side Plank, or , through skillful, creative, alignment-based sequences. With the support of props we play with dynamic poses like Fallen Triangle, Partridge, and Rockstar, as well as deeper backbends and therapeutic release techniques for your wrists and shoulders. I’m really looking forward to this! As I’ve evolved into a chronologically older version of myself, I’ve come to appreciate my props because they enable me to continue to enjoy poses that used to come fairly naturally but now can be a challenge. I like the aspect you share of bringing playfulness into the practice. We need more playfulness!
